– THE 11 LONDON SUSPECTS

 

After the London 7/21 attack the British police arrested 10 members of family and friends of the 6 offenders of the attack that helped the suspects to avoid arrest and to flee from the country. The police did not claim that the suspects had any previous knowledge about the attack but, because of family or ethnic ties or even because they sympathized with the idea of Jihad and the attack, they helped the terrorist offenders afterwards. 

 

 

* Yeshiemebet Girma – was born in 1976 from Ethiopian descent. She is the wife of Hussain Osman, one of the London 7/21 attackers and a mother of three. After the attack Yeshiemebet Girma helped her husband to flee to Italy, where he was arrested on 07/29/2005. She was arrested on 07/27/2005 in Stockwell Gardens, South London,  for withholding necessary information from the police and  disruption of the investigation by smuggling Hussain Osman out of UK

 

 

* Mulumebet Girma – was born in 1986, the sister of Yeshiemebet Girma. She spend few    years in her childhood in Italy. Mulumebet Girma was a successful student in Brighton University.  She was arrested on 07/27/2005 in Stockwell Gardens, South London,  for withholding necessary information from the police and disruption of the investigation.

 

 

 

* Asias Girma – The brother of Mulumebet and Yeshiemebet Girma was born in 1985. He arrived to UK in 1992 from Ethiopia. Was arrested on 02/08/2005 for withholding necessary information from the police and disruption of the investigation. 

 

 

Ismael Abdurahman – born in 1982, of Kennington, London, was arrested in the morning of 07/28/2007 and charged under the Terrorism Act with failing to disclose information about Hussain Osman.  After a further investigation he was charges again for more offences, all relating to allegations of helping  also the other would-be bombers of the London 7/21 attack, to evade  arrest.  On 02/04/2008 Ismael Abdurahman was convicted and sentenced for 10 years imprisonment.

 

 

Whabi Mohamed – born in 1982 of Notting Hill, London. The brother of Ramzi Mohamed one of the London 7/21 offenders. He was arrested on 07/29/2005 and charged with failing to disclose information that may help police investigating an act of terrorism. He was also charged with assisting a suspect in evading arrest. On 02/04/2008 Whabi Mohamed was convicted of having prior knowledge of the plot and sentenced for 17 years imprisonment. 

 

Siraj Yassin Abdullah Ali – born in 1975, from New Southgate, North London. He was a neighbor of Yassin Omar. They were once been fostered by the same family and formed a strong bond. . Siraj Ali was Was charged on 08/08/2005 of failing to disclose information to the police about Yassin Hassan Omar, Hussain Osman and assisting Muktar Said Ibrahim in evading arrest. On 02/04/2008 Siraj Yassin Abdullah Ali was convicted of having prior knowledge of the plot and sentenced for 12 years imprisonment . 

 

* Shadi Sami Abdel Gadir – was born on 1982, from Brighton and an electrical engineering student. He was arrested in Brighton, Sussex on 07/30/2005 with two other defendants: Omar Nagmeloin Almagboul and Mohamed Kabashi.   Shadi Sami Abdel Gadir was charged with failing to disclose information about Hussain Osman that may help the police and helping suspect terrorists to evade arrest.  

 

* Omar Nagmeloin Almagboul  was born in 1985, from Brighton.  He was arrested in Brighton, Sussex on 07/30/2005 with two other defendants Shadi Sami Abdel Gadir and Mohamed Kabashi. Omar Nagmeloin Almagboul was charged with failing to disclose information about Hussain Osman that may help the police and helping suspect terrorists to evade arrest. 

 

 

* Mohamed Kabashi – born in 1982, of no fixed abode. .  He was arrested in Brighton, Sussex on 07/30/2007 with two other defendants Shadi Sami Abdel Gadir and Omar Nagmeloin Almagboul. Mohamed Kabashi was charged with failing to disclose information about Hussain Osman that may help the police and helping suspect terrorists to evade arrest. 

 

 

Abdul Sharif, born in 1977, from Crossford Street, Brixton, South London. He was charged with failing to disclose information about Hussain Osman and Ramzi Mohamed that may help police investigating an act of terrorism. Also charged with helping a suspect evade arrest. On 02/04/2008 Abdul Sharif was convicted and sentenced for 10 years imprisonment. 

 

  Muhedin Ali, born in 1978, was a friend of Hussain Osman and the brothers of Whabi and Ramzi Mohamed with whom he played football.  He took possession of extremist materials belonging to Hussain Osman and Ramzi Mohamed’s suicide note the night before the London 7/21 attacks.  On 02/04/2008 Abdul Sharif was convicted and sentenced for 7 years in jail.
